We celebrate the start of something great on June 26, the groundbreaking of SBP and AmeriCorps rebuilding Brazoria County following Hurricane Harvey. The volunteers, organized by Mosaic in Action, came all the way from St. Mary's Episcopal Church Youth Group of Arlington, Virginia. The first house they are working on belongs to Marlene Edwards of the City of Alvin. The Brazoria County Long Term Recovery Committee looks forward to upcoming day when Ms. Edwards will be back in her home.
